About Us
We talk business and we write technically!
About the company
The entire mission of Data Training is ‘Data at the core!’ Tech for Business: ‘We talk Business and we write technically!‘
About the method
The Data Training Method is highly appreciated and well established: we always start from the end result. “I have this report to deliver, requested by Sales for… let’s see what we need!” From there, we identify the actual need. Once the objective is clear, the technical concepts become much easier to understand. Marcela Filip: “I learned this approach from my lower secondary school Math teacher, who taught every lesson through deduction and encouraged us to independently search for the solution. “
4-hour-per-day course format – We are old school. We are the kind of school that gives homework because we know that doing it makes a difference. That’s why a 4-hour-per-day course format means a real opportunity for extra homework. And true understanding comes when we’re left alone with a task.
Hands-on means practice, practice, practice — from the moment concepts are taught all the way to applying them on the job. When we learn to drive a car, we learn by driving. It’s the same in any field, and in our courses too.

Marcela Filip
Trainer & Founder Data Training
My mission is to make a meaningful contribution through the perspective we bring and the courses we develop, while empowering people and organizations to achieve what they truly need.
I’ve already taken this journey myself — having worked as a Data Analyst and a SQL Developer — and I know what it means to learn, to push through obstacles, to navigate uncertainty, and to wonder whether what you’ve learned is actually correct.
I chose to start Data Training to offer support and guidance to people like me — to make their path easier and, perhaps, shorter. I also believe people deserve well-paid jobs and solid training, so they can truly grow their knowledge and skills.
This is my way of contributing — my way of giving back.

Oana Mirea
Trainer & International Business Manager
Oana is the expert behind the data — a professional with a strong and impressive background in areas such as Project Management, Business Analysis, DWH Development, and DWH Management, within an international work environment.
We are delighted to have such a valuable person by our side, someone who supports, contributes, and builds with dedication and professionalism.
The Data Training Team
We are a dedicated, hard-working team, for the sake of teaching and learning. We love what we do, we wish to share what we know, as well as our individual journeys; we encourage, we empathize and we work side-by-side with the participants. All these linked and kept us as a team and remain reasons we chose each other.

Mihaela Batali
Operations Assistant
“I believe in the power of authentic connections and in the impact that administrative support can have on a team. I work with empathy, patience, and attention to detail, so that every colleague, every participant, and every collaborative relationship feels they have a trusted partner by their side.
With a background in psycho-pedagogy, organization and effective communication are the ways through which I feel I can bring clarity, calm, and structure into our day-to-day work.”
Thank you, Mihaela, for helping us be more organized and better in everything we do together!

Dennis Dobrescu
SQL Server & Oracle Trainer
Dennis has been our Oracle and SQL Server trainer for several years now, fully dedicated to hands-on practice during courses—just like at work—just as he uses SQL Server and Oracle every day in his role as a developer.
Participants often say he’s an amazing trainer, that they’ve understood things so easily, and that topics no longer seem confusing when learning is directly connected to real job experience.

Ovidiu Necula
Python Trainer
Ovidiu is part of our team, bringing his strong and solid experience in banking and multinational companies. He wants to teach us Python for Data Analysis, but he also wants to share with all of us—colleagues and participants alike—his experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
Step by step, we’ll have to clone Ovidiu so he has enough time to deliver all the courses. :D

Edeline Mitrofan Excel Trainer
We first met Edeline during our courses, as a participant—and how much we liked her! Now, Edeline is a trainer who brings all her experience and hands-on practice to the benefit of her participants.
Edeline is also a professional in accounting and the financial field, and she applies her extensive experience—both in Excel and in Finance—together with her course participants. And it’s definitely not a small amount of experience.

Dariush Aminai
Excel & SQL Trainer
Excel & SQL Trainer
Dariush is a wonderful colleague—among all of us, he’s the one who naturally has that spirit of being there for people.
During his interview, he said: “A temporary table in SQL is like a piece of paper you write on and, once you’ve solved what’s on it, you throw it away.” That’s when we realized that when someone is a natural-born trainer, they simply need to be with us.
Excel courses mean guiding people from beginner to advanced level and giving them the confidence that they can do it—and Dariush does this naturally, combining encouragement with solid technical solutions.

Alexandru Mogildea
Excel / Power BI Trainer
Excel / Power BI Trainer
Alex impressed us with his organized and structured approach—and, most of all, with his kind and gentle nature. This quality is truly special in our field.
At his courses, we can ask Alex about Finance, Power Query, and Tableau—beyond Excel—at any level. We can ask him what it’s like in both large and small companies, and he’ll surely create a multi-sheet Excel file to explain everything in a clear and organized way.

Razvan Filastacheanu
Excel & Power BI Trainer
Excel & Power BI Trainer
Razvan takes pleasure in being of service. He enjoys playing tennis and running (perhaps he will inspire us, as well). He also knows what he can be of service with: his extensive experience in Data Finance and Reporting spans various industries (Automotive, Retail), where he has worked with leading companies.
He has a great deal of patience, since it is now his opportunity to help others grow through Excel courses.
