The Data Training Puzzle - Our Courses
What Our Courses Aim?
Â
Taking a practical training, with real-life scenarios and tasks – be them from our jobs, from interviews, professional exams – entails an organized, structured learning, no gaps, by bridging the information up to ‘this situation I met at my job/there was this case I had”
The questions our trainees have usually raise the bar of the course’s level and help each of us, trainers included, to update the courses; all participants develop in such process by learning new things. And do not we all love being in school again, open-minded and eager to learn?
Why Excel?
Because most of our lives is Excel.
It is where we spend, where we save, where we budget, where we check products, match prices, do prices-become competitive; where we envision scenarios, strategize Business, improve Business.
It is in Excel where we look for a company's history so that we plan for the future; it is where we can export and work with all sort of data and where we automatize and systematize to get rid of routine.
It is in Excel where all these become graphs and charts we can import further to Power Point for a meeting, It also can do buttons... and we like buttons!
Bridging Courses:
All of our Data Training Courses target REPORTING at all levels. They represent the pathway from Business to IT and right back to Business. We start with Excel - we learn how it can be a powerful tool at our disposal WE are in control of-and then move forward with 'magically' making things happen by automatizing and developing them further in SQL. Then, we return to Excel and see the results.
A gracefully crafted journey!
Courses Organizing
Each training can be tailor-made in accordance to the needs, objectives and tasks of a specific job or the particular requirements of a companyÂ
Each trainee will be awarded a certificate of completion.Â
At the end of each training, the participants are gently asked to provide feed-back for both the effectiveness of the course/curriculum and the efficiency of the teaching/trainer.Â
As the course unfolds, we adapt its content to what proves to be the level of the group. If major differences in skills between trainees, there is always the possibility of providing specific training solutions for particular cases.
Currently, all our courses, whether designated ‘closed’ for certain companies or open to all participants are conducted online.Â
Data Training provides all participants with the log-in link at least two days prior to its start.Â
Each course implies a final evaluation with the purpose of assessing the trainees’ progress towards the objectives set at the beginning of the training process. Â
We constantly propose, during the course and as ‘homework’, workspace-specific exercises, assignments and projects to be verified and discussed with the participants . These assignments are useful practice, fostering and consolidating the learning process.Â
Our curriculum is as alive as today’s business- we constantly aim at remaining updated to the market requirements, job interviews’ practical tests, actual day-to-day chores and tasks within a workplace and lastly, but not last, to the valuable feed-back we receive from our trainings’ participants. We give back by ensuring access to a course’s training materials and exercises for one year to all previous participants. Â
The quality of our courses is our top priority! Standard courses take place for four hours each day, as it is considered the optimal duration, but we can conduct courses for three to seven hours a day, if needed.Â
Certificate of Completion Awarded at the End of the Course
Data Training awards a certificate of completion for each of the trainings we took together. The certificate is released once the training is complete, but it can be reissued, by request, up to two years after the training ends.
